Ivies- Sick For A Week

If you are looking for a song which perfectly feels like summer, Ivies are the band for you. With bright riffs and euphoric melodies, the young band have created an energetic indie sound.

The five-piece met at university in Durham last year and started gigging and writing songs together. The result of which is their debut EP full of relatable and fun stories which document the ups and downs of coming of age, love, nostalgia and friendship.

‘Sick For a Week’ feels raw and effortless, with funky rhythms and soft comforting melodies, a song which is perfect for the beginning of a teen movie. As their debut release, the song already created a buzz as it was chosen as their local BBC Introducing track of the week
